A new $20-million production contract has strengthened M-tron Industries’ role in US air defense, tasking the company with supplying advanced RF components over the next two years. Work will be carried out in Orlando through mid-2028, while the broader defense system supported by these components is expected to remain in service well into the 2030s. M-tron’s RF filters and oscillators underpin performance across missiles, radar, electronic warfare, communications, unmanned systems, and space platforms. The award extends a pattern of repeat business, following multiple contracts in 2025 for naval weapons, air defense filters, and multi-domain data-link technologies. Together, these programs highlight M-tron’s sustained contribution to long-term US and allied defense modernization.
