Blackhawk has been awarded a significant contract to supply the German armed forces with its modular Holster Carry System.
The system, tailored to the operational requirements of Bundeswehr soldiers, allows holsters to be mounted on the belt, chest, or thigh and features quick-detach adapters for seamless compatibility with Blackhawk and G-Code RTI components.
Manufactured in the United States, the system emphasizes durability and adaptability, drawing on real-world field experience.
Helmut Hofmann, the German partner for the program, described the collaboration as an example of combining American engineering expertise with German precision and logistics.
Blackhawk’s European agency, Outdoor Marketing International, played a key role in securing the contract through its market knowledge and local relationships.
Germany has continued modernizing soldier systems in recent years. For instance, in April 2024, Rheinmetall secured a framework contract to provide up to 191,000 tactical intercom systems with integrated hearing protection. In August 2024, a public tender was issued for leather belt holsters for the HK SFP9‑TR service pistol, and in March 2025, Mehler Protection received follow-on orders for modular protective vests for German Special Operations Forces.
