TTTECH North America has secured a contract from the US Army to provide a cutting-edge networking solution for the HADES spy aircraft program.
The package includes a 10 Gigabit Time-Sensitive Network system with Ethernet-aligned switches, endpoints, and configuration software. Designed for real-time data transfer between avionics systems, it features fault-tolerant scheduling and complies with DO-178 Level A safety certification.
The open-architecture design allows flexible upgrades and cost-effective lifecycle management. HADES will replace the Army’s older turboprop ISR fleet with up to six Bombardier Global 6500-based aircraft, with deliveries beginning this year and modifications underway in Maryland.
