Patria has delivered a full-mission simulator for its Armored Modular Vehicle (AMV) platform to the Slovak Armed Forces. Developed in collaboration with Slovak companies Virtual Reality Media and Konštrukta Defence, the system replicates the operational functions of the Patria AMV XP 8×8 infantry fighting vehicle, allowing personnel to train across diverse mission scenarios within a controlled environment.
The simulator supports both individual and collective training, with customizable and repeatable scenarios tailored to varying operational conditions. This approach enables crews to practice procedures and coordination without relying on physical vehicles, thereby reducing operational costs, minimizing equipment wear, and enabling more frequent training cycles.
Since the start of the year, Patria has broadened its involvement in multiple European defense initiatives spanning land systems, vehicle deliveries, and aviation. In Latvia, the company signed a lifecycle support agreement for the Common Armored Vehicle System 6×6 fleet, focusing on maintenance and long-term sustainment.
In Germany, Patria delivered the first batch of its 6×6 armored vehicles, marking a step forward in the country’s efforts to enhance protected mobility. Additionally, the company has entered the military aviation domain through a partnership with Pratt & Whitney to support Finland’s incoming F-35 fleet. Under this agreement, Patria will initially assemble F135 engines in Finland, with plans to expand into maintenance and repair activities over time.
