Latvia is advancing efforts to strengthen its naval capabilities with the development of a new multi-role offshore platform aimed at addressing evolving maritime security challenges. The vessel, known as the LNT-27 tactical catamaran, is being designed as a fast, stable, and efficient platform capable of supporting a broad spectrum of operational missions. Its catamaran configuration is expected to enhance transit speeds while ensuring improved stability, particularly in rough and unpredictable sea conditions.
