India’s missile capabilities are poised to gain a significant boost in precision as the Defence Research and Development Laboratory develops an advanced navigation and electronic guidance system for next-generation missile platforms.
The new suite improves inertial navigation performance by integrating high-precision accelerometers and gyroscopes aligned along the missile’s primary axes. These sensors continuously monitor movement in all directions, enabling real-time tracking of the missile’s trajectory and supporting accurate course corrections throughout flight.
