A collaborative effort involving six defense companies has led to the rapid development of the “Hunter-Killer” autonomous unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) team, which was assembled in under a week. Designed as a ground-based counter-air solution, the paired robotic platforms are capable of independently detecting, tracking, and engaging airborne threats with minimal human intervention. Within the system, Hunter serves as the surveillance and target-tracking vehicle, while Killer is tasked with neutralizing identified targets through kinetic engagement.
