The UH-60 Black Hawk has been equipped with a new advanced sensing capability. In a recent flight demonstration, Raytheon tested its RAIVEN Staring system using the helicopter as an airborne platform for the sensor suite.

During operations conducted in zero-light conditions, the system successfully mapped complex environments—including urban areas, marshlands, and coastal regions—using its air-cooled three-sensor configuration.
