Thales has successfully tested its new radio frequency (RF) directed-energy weapon, RapidDestroyer, neutralizing 80 drones during recent trials and demonstrating increasing maturity for operational deployment against unmanned aerial threats.
The system incorporates a four-panel effector architecture that delivers greater energy concentration on targets than previous-generation solutions. This design also enhances targeting accuracy and energy focus, enabling effective engagements at extended distances.
