Around 350 personnel from the British Army have trialed new methods to counter aerial threats while remaining inside their armored vehicles, reflecting efforts to adapt to the growing presence of drones on modern battlefields.

Central to the concept is a shared digital battlespace picture, created by integrating live data streams from drones deployed directly from mobile armored platforms. This approach enables both tank crews and dismounted soldiers to access the same real-time operational feed, significantly enhancing coordination and situational awareness.
