Northrop Grumman has demonstrated that its Talon IQ testbed aircraft can seamlessly switch between different AI autonomy systems mid-flight without disrupting ongoing missions.
In the test, the aircraft initially operated using Prism autonomy software before transferring control during flight to systems developed by Applied Intuition and Accelint.
The successful demonstration highlights Prism’s ability to host and transition between software from multiple providers while remaining compliant with US government architecture standards.
