Leonardo DRS has introduced an integrated solution that could equip naval platforms with comprehensive counter-drone capabilities, with its Maritime Mission Equipment Package (M-MEP) now being incorporated into maritime vessels.
The system is engineered for rapid deployment across both crewed and uncrewed platforms, providing a unified capability to detect, identify, and engage unmanned threats.
M-MEP integrates maritime radar systems with electro-optical and infrared sensors to identify incoming drones and determine whether they are operating individually or as part of a coordinated swarm.
