Thailand has strengthened its eastern border defenses by introducing new 8×8 amphibious wheeled armored vehicles (AWAVs), aimed at enhancing its ability to conduct seamless land-to-sea operations.
These vehicles are designed to support a range of missions, including emergency response, territorial protection, and border security.
They are also capable of operating alongside the Royal Thai Navy’s landing platform dock vessels to effectively carry out amphibious operations.
