Airbus has reimagined its H145 helicopter as a next-generation uncrewed aerial platform, integrating autonomous technologies, advanced sensors, and artificial intelligence to support demanding mission profiles. Designated the U145, the aircraft features a maximum takeoff weight of 3,800 kilograms (8,378 pounds), allowing it to transport significant payloads. Departing from the traditional crewed configuration, the platform eliminates the cockpit and adopts a cargo-centric design equipped with an integrated nose access door, a foldable loading table, and a dedicated cargo floor.
