The UK and Australia have initiated a joint project to develop next-generation modular weapon sub-systems. The collaboration merges the UK’s Modular Weapons Testbed with Australia’s SHARKTOOTH missile program, which employs a “plug-and-launch” concept allowing for flexible integration of different guidance systems, warheads, sensors, and propulsion technologies.
