Airbus Tests H145 Helicopter With Shield AI’s Hivemind Autonomy
Airbus has completed its initial autonomous helicopter flight trial, powered by Shield AI’s Hivemind autonomy software.
The H145 model was selected as the testbed to optimize timelines, manage expenses, and mitigate risks in the integration process.
Shield AI’s Hivemind system operated as the pilot, linked with Airbus’ Helionix avionics, overseeing the helicopter’s mission functions throughout the test.
