BlackSea Technologies has unveiled the MASC (Modular Attack Surface Craft), a next-generation unmanned surface vessel designed specifically for the US Navy’s modular, multi-role combat needs.
Built as a dedicated military design rather than an adaptation of civilian hulls, the MASC prioritizes payload access and mission versatility. It boasts a payload capacity of over 67,000 pounds (28,122 kilograms) — double that of comparable craft.
With 900 square feet (84 square meters) of open deck space and 198 kilowatts of available power, the vessel can support a wide array of cutting-edge weapons and sensor systems for diverse naval missions.
