A British aerospace manufacturer has set out to develop an entirely new UAV for Sweden’s military, with delivery targeted within an 18-month development cycle.
GKN Aerospace confirmed a cooperation agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to build a multi-role uncrewed platform designed for flexible mission profiles.
The UAV will use a highly adaptable design, offering faster operational responses while ensuring long-term upgradeability for both systems and onboard technologies.
