Windracers is preparing to enhance its ULTRA unmanned aircraft to carry payloads of up to 200 kilograms over ranges exceeding 2,000 kilometers, with the upgraded capability expected to enter service in the coming months. Revealed at the company’s LAUNCH 2026 event in London, the heavy-lift, dual-use drone already offers a 2,000-kilometer range while transporting payloads of more than 100 kilograms. The ULTRA is currently operational in multiple countries across both defense and civilian roles, including Ukraine, where it has supported intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and resupply missions since 2023 under UK military assistance. Featuring up to 10 hours of endurance, a robust fixed-wing design, and operation on standard fuel, the aircraft is built to perform in harsh weather and remote environments. Windracers also plans to expand ULTRA operations into Africa.
