Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly central to France’s defense industrial strategy, influencing the design, production, and operation of naval combat systems.
In line with this strategy, Naval Group has acquired a 20 percent stake in cortAIx France, Thales’ defense-focused AI accelerator.
The investment grants Naval Group representation in cortAIx’s governance structure and formalizes collaboration on the development of AI technologies tailored for military applications.
