Thales and Renault Group have partnered to convert a 4×4 vehicle platform into a mobile command-and-control solution capable of managing a wide range of unmanned systems.
Known as the “4 TROOP,” the demonstrator serves as a fully operational command center for coordinating both unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) during battlefield operations. Acting as a central control node, it enables operators to oversee and direct multiple autonomous assets from a single platform.
The vehicle has been designed with a modular architecture that allows it to be adapted to various land-force missions. At its core is Thales’ Combat Digital Platform, which delivers secure communications, tactical networking capabilities, and advanced decision-support tools to enhance operational effectiveness.
